SS501 Greets Chinese Fans at Beijing Fanmeet
Yesterday, SS501 had a very successful fanmeeting in Beijing and personally I'm not surprised... who doesn't love hot guys? Especially when they travel in packs!
The five-man group sang "Unlock," "Deja Vu," "A Song Calling For You" and Triple S's hit, "U R Man." During the set, the members teased each other with imitations; Young-saeng showed the audience how Jung-min looks when he was drunk and even Hyun-joong imitated maknae Hyung-joon's behaviors.
Unsurprisingly, rumor has it that many fans were chasing the boys during their stay in Beijing. Leader Hyun-joong is most widely known because of his role in Boys Over Flowers and SS501 for their song, "Because I'm Stupid," from the drama.
For the conclusion of the fan meeting, the boys sang and encore song and told the audience to anticipate SS501's second album, slated for a September release.

In bakery brand 'Tous Les Jours' ad, Rain and actress Ku Hye-Seon turn handheld and mini patissier elves, and show their lovely and happy appearance.
Since this ad says these two turn cute and mini patissier elves, not to mention peripheral props had to become bigger.
Pros such as spoons, forks, sourdough, and pieces of almonds, were specifically formulated for the shooting, Rain had to pour syrup, holding a heavy and big spoon in his hand, and Ku Hye-Seon had to act to stud a model of huge pieces of almonds.
It was nearly all shot in conjunction with computer-generated props, it is said that Rain and Ku Hye-Seon also sang CM together after the shooting all night. This ad will be aired on TV from the evening of the 2nd.

SS501 will hold their first official fan meeting in Beijing, representing their ambition to develop in China.
SS501 will be holding their official fan meeting on the 29th of this month, at Chaoyang Stadium in Beijing, China, stepping onto China soil, officially arriving and developing their China market.
This activity is SS501’s first step in developing the China market, they’re prepared to tour 4 different cities in China next year January, so this fan meeting in Beijing is a test of their popularity.

Apart from that, Hong Kong’s tour is currently scheduled for November, in other words, in the following 3 months, they’ll be spending it with the fans of the Greater China region.

We know everyone is anxious to see the CASS 2x Beer CF featuring hit superstar Lee Minho and 2NE1's Sandara Park, so here are some behind the scenes shots of the set!
We began shooting around midnight on Wednesday and ended around sunrise (5:30am). Around 240 extras jumped enthusiastically to the "concert" being performed. We were given glow sticks and Cass Beer to shake, spray and drink. In addition to being drenched in beer, we were sprayed with water hoses as well. It was cold and tiring, but definitely fun!
Lee Minho had a scene in the red Ferrari and then later joined the crowd with Sandara Park, which drove the fan boys crazy. Lee Minho was supposed to spot her in the crowd and then make his way toward her. Of course this is a beer CF, so the moral of the story is that being drenched in beer makes everyone happy, and of course they get together in the end. I'd give away more details, but I don't want to ruin the fun - so you'll just have to wait to see the entire CF! I'm looking forward to seeing the final production and my beer drenched self as well... cheers!

The producers of 'Mischievous Kiss' are currently searching for cast members, and apparently Lee Min Ho is the most popular choice amongst netizens for the drama's lead role. Goo Hye sun always snags the cutest co-stars.
Goo Hye sun always snags the cutest co-stars.Popular stars Rain and Goo Hye sun have joined forces to film a CF for the bakery brand 뚜레쥬르 (Tu-re-ju-rul). Filming for the CF began earlier this month.
Although Rain’s appearance in the CF is probably what will excite viewers the most, the singer was only the brand’s second choice for the CF’s male lead. He was brought in after actor Jo In-sung became unavailable, as he had already begun his military service.
Shots of the pair filming have already been released showing the duo decked out in preppy all-white ensembles with green accessories. Aside from that, the pair looks to be doing some sort of super-adorable dance. By the looks of things, Rain’s character in the CF will be cute and playful, a heavy contrast to the sexy and charismatic image that has become the singer’s trademark. Kim So Eun : Ambassador of University Fashion Week
Lots of opportunities have come to Kim So Eun lately.
She has been chosen as the Ambassador of ’2009 University Fashion Week’ with Jung Kyung Ho (Jang Myung Go).
The fashion will be running on th 9th of September till the 11th and they will feature graduation pieces of the fashion design students.
I guess after she attends the Story of Four Flowers promotion in Japan, she will be back in Korea to attend this event.

Lee Min Jung, best known for her role as Gu Jun Pyo’s fiancée in popular drama Boys Before Flowers, was originally the female lead in GD’s MV for his first solo album. However, she gave up the opportunity and instead, starred in newbie group December’s MV.
As GD’s Hearbreaker album is enjoying record-breaking sales and extreme popularity, netizens were naturally curious about the reason behind Lee Min Jung’s decision.
In reply, December’s agency CS Happy Entertainment said that ‘Before Lee Min Jung became popular, she starred in Zia’s MV ‘Violin’. Hence, she was grateful for the opportunity we had given her then and hence decides to star in December’s MV.’ It was then discovered that the schedules would clash and thus she was unable to take part in G-Dragon’s MV.
As an insider in the K-pop industry put it ‘Although I understand her point of gratitude, isn’t it a waste to give up on such a great opportunity?’
According to CS Happy Entertainment, ‘At first, Lee Ming Jung didn’t know that she was invited to take part in GD’s MV. It is rare these days that an artiste will give up such a great opportunity and we are really grateful.’

Kim Bum : is still happy even though the DREAM ratings is low
“Although the ratings are low, but because I love acting, I live happily each and everyday.” 20 years old Kim Bum made the above remarks with a smile.
MBC Korean TV drama ‘Queen Seon Duk’ has suppressed the ratings of ‘Dream’. Kim Bum don’t mind if the ratings was only 5% to 6%.
Kim Bum expressed: “All the shooting scenes atmosphere were good. Even though I have to shoot for 6 days a week, I don’t feel tired at all. Currently we have completed shooting half the series (Total: 20 series), and are looking forward to the rest of the filming.”
Since ‘Boys Before Flowers’, Kim Bum has been popular all this while. In the Korean TV drama ‘Boys Before Flowers’, Kim Bum has been acting as a rich group successor. Through ‘Boys Before Flowers’, he had shot 7 commercial ads and ranked as a Hallyu star by overseas fans.
Just few months later, Kim Bum got rid of his ‘flower boy’ image and acted as a fighter in the SBS Korean TV drama ‘Dream’. Because the change of role is so significant, the audiences may not be able to accept it at once.
Kim Bum said: “As a actor, I cannot only just develop in one kind of role. Acting as So Yi Jung is being welcome by most fans, but it could also easily caught fans too depth in. Actually I should be resting after shooting ‘Boys Before Flowers’, but I accepted to act in ‘Dream’ because of Lee Jang Suk’s role. This role is very attractive and it can help me to walk out from So Yi Jung’s image.”
Although the ratings were low, but Kim Bum’s success reforming has received the show business sector’s attention. Production team also gave encouragement to Kim Bum who has successfully walk out of his ‘flower boy’ image.

JunDi: Catch and Carry
After watching a multiple Korean dramas in the past, it is a general observation that a story wouldn’t be completely romantic (aside from the Kissing Scenes, of course) without the male protagonist carrying his love interest in a rescue scene or merely as an expression of affection.
Here is my summary of the “Carry Jandi” scenes from JunDi moments in Boys Over Flowers: (Too bad, I’m still missing a couple of photos which captured the last 2 moments.)
1. Scoop-Lift 1:
JP rescued JD from the wrath of the Shinwa students due to a fabricated scandal about JD.
2. Shoulder-Lift:
JP playfully carried JD on his shoulders having enough of her funny antics while learning how to play golf. (I totally love this one!)
3. Piggy-Back Ride 1 & Scoop-Lift 2:
JP was compelled by JD to join the “carry your gf/bf” contest with the goal of winning a couple phone. As seen in JP’s expression, he had a hard time carrying JD . On the other, JD obviosuly enjoyed it.
4. Piggy-Back Ride 2:
JP rescued JD from freezing to death while searching for the missing “moon-star” necklace.
5. Scoop-Lift 3:
JP saved JD from drowning after retrieving the “moon-star” necklace from the bottom of the pool at JK’s resort.
6. Scoop-Lift 4:
JP carried his “personal maid” JD to her room after falling asleep in his closet while hiding from JK.

I am absolutely amused with GHS’s account in their previous interview on how LMH had a hard time carrying her and committing a lot of NGs in the aforecited scenes. It is interesting to read MinSun’s comical exchange of teasing about these NGs. They certainly feel comfortable in each other’s company and have no hesitation about making fun of each other. LMH wittingly defends himself about why he can’t carry her properly.
