The Things that can Only Happen in BOF
1. Only in BOF can you kick a guy in the face and he'd fall in love with you... In real life, that's a serious offense for reckless imprudence resulting to physical injuries
2. Only in BOF, can a multi billionaire head of a global conglomerate have time to meddle in her son's life and worse even trail the object of her son's affection... It's true that this also happens in real life but only in BOF can that tycoon have so much zest and passion for this task the way that she does when she's talking about mergers and takeovers...
3. In BOF land, Rich boys don't know how to wake up by themselves nor to set alarms... They always need a maid to do it for them, or horn toting hotel managers to tell them it's time to wake up...
4. 6. Only in BOF can TV's be tuned in to people that you want to avoid the moment you pass a display full of it... The TV's are also programmed to show clips of you dating to your mother who is sooo against it, even if the topic is all about flowers blooming in spring...
7. Big Brother is alive and watching you in BOF land... Lovelorn best friends know where you are at your moment of need, evil mothers are notified when you meet with their sons and ex boyfriends always walk in on you when you're having the sweetest moments with your best friend who is in love with you... Heck! even grandfathers who abandon you draw you when you are not looking...

Goodbye Yoon Ji Hoo
Kim Hyunjoong, who made the transition from singer to actor through KBS 2TV’s drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’, takes on the role as someone strange but capable of giving innocent love- ‘Yoon Ji Hoo’
Yoon Ji Hoo led a lonely life in the world after losing both his parents and F4 are the only friends in his life. He then meets the girl his best friend Gu Jun Pyo loves – Geum Jan Di. His character has captured the hearts of many female viewers through his protection of Geum Jan Di.
Especially so since many of the viewers long for the kind of romance fantasy that Kim Hyunjoong brings to life through Yoon Ji Hoo in the drama with his sweet lines.
Kim Hyunjoong recently revealed through an interview with KBS that the Yoon Ji Hoo lines that make his hands and feet curl are “The hotcakes aren’t rising” “As long as you have a white sail and wind, you can go anywhere” “I can’t sit in the economy class as my legs are too long”. He also added that “Actually I don’t really eat hotcakes. I only found out that hotcakes were like bread through the filming”
When asked what he will do if his parents object to the marriage like Gu Jun Pyo’s parents in the drama, he said “I believe that if I persuade them convincingly, I can do it” “Even if my parents object, I want to be a person that can protect the one I love”.

Kim Bum's Childhood Story: Finale
This is a continuation of Kim Bum's Life Story.. Part 1 and Part 2 were already posted long ago... It's never too late to post the continuation.. ^^
Ever wonder if Kim Bum is not an actor, what would he likely to be? A soccer player. This third part brings us to his elementary and middle school stage, where his enthusiasm in soccer once caused a strain in his relationship with his father.

Kim Bum is gifted in sports and he especially loved to play soccer. Since his elementary school, he often played the pillar role in his school’s soccer team in several inter-school soccer competitions.
Kim Bum would usually be allocated the striker position in the team. Whenever I went to support him, he would always be able to score a beautiful goal, just like what would usually be seen on TV replays. This made me really proud to be his mother.
I remember around that time, Kim Bum once aimed to be a famous footballer. When he was promoted to middle school, he joined the school’s soccer club. For this, his father raised a strong objection, which caused a temporary strain in relationship between both of them.
His father had wished for Kim Bum to concentrate fully on his studies, but if he joined the soccer club, he would definitely not be able to achieve this. However, Kim Bum did not change his stand and will because of his father’s opposition. In his third year, he even became the team captain. But one incident changed everything. In the same year, his team suffered a crushing defeat of 0 to 10 in an inter-school soccer competition. Kim Bum cried very hard after that and vowed not to play soccer anymore. And indeed that was the case after the incident. Looking at that, sometimes I would ask “if he really did like soccer before”.
As can be seen from this, Kim Bum is a person of strong-will. Even if he is temporary obsessed with certain things, he would still be able to get himself of the addiction.
Before he entered the elementary school, he had stayed in Sydney, Australia for about a year at his aunt and grandma’s place. Although he couldn’t speak English initially, he still managed to communicate with other children very naturally. He acquainted a lot of friends over there and his English language was given a great boost while in Australia. I was once worried that since he was enjoying his stay in Australia, what if he is reluctant to return to South Korea.
My worries were unfounded though. When I told him that we were about to return to Korea, he replied “great” without any hesitation. I feel that this showed the maturity level in his thoughts. Although he was extremely popular among the girls, but he did not had a girlfriend. Was that a result of his cool and decisive personality?
The final part of Kim Bum’s childhood story. Life isn’t always a smooth sail, especially when you are an actor. Looking for acting opportunities and even had to endure harsh criticisms by netizens are part some things a newcomer has to go through. Kim Bum is no exception.

Kim Bum had put in a lot of effort after he was determined to become an actor. He participated in several auditions and also attended acting classes. Beginning from his middle school, Kim was often approached by star scouts who suggested him to venture into the entertainment circle. However, after a year of hard work but yielded no results, Kim Bum began to fret.
Just at that point of time, Kim Bum joined the “Survival Star Audition” organized by KBS, which boosted his confidence significantly. “Survival Star Audition” was a platform aimed to uncover young stars in their early 20s. Kim Bum, who was 17 then, shone among the thousands of participants, and was pushed to the top ten. He however did not proceed further due to his young age, but still retained the 8th position.
Following “Survival Star Audition”, Kim Bum started to receive new acting opportunities. As the son of Yoo Ho Jung in “Outrageous Women” and playing in MBC’s comedy sitcom “Unstoppable High Kick”, Kim Bum garnered a little popularity. With fame comes with accusations. The internet then had gossips about him. Even though this is the part and parcel of being an actor, I still dropped my tears whenever I see those comments.
Kim Bum was persistent. He said to me, “Mum, please don’t look at the comments on the internet.” Luckily, the negative comments didn’t continue to follow. I guess it was because of my “ritual” to send the “ghosts” away.
Looking at his recent performance, I couldn’t stop but to recall the scene when he signed his contract with his management agency. I cried uncontrollably then as I was worried that he would be bounded by others. I felt like my son had been taken away from me.
Kim Bum held my hands and promised me: “Mom, please believe in me.” Indeed, right after, he did not disappoint me. Hence, I believe Kim Bum will be able to become one of the greatest actor in Korea.

Kim HyunJoong who acts in KBS 2TV ‘Boys Over Flowers’ had completed his filming for the drama on 29-Mar. Kim HyunJoong will finish all his pre-arranged schedules including CF filming till 02-Apr and be admitted to the hospital.
Kim HyunJoong met up with an accident not long ago and suffered side-effects arising from it, however due to his busy schedules, he was not able to receive full treatment for it. In addition, he did not have sufficient rest, thus his condition is not good. Kim HyunJoong will stop almost all his activities by April to rest and concentrate on recovering his body.
Company DSP Media representative said to Newsen on 30-Mar through a telephone conversation “Drama filming ends on 29-Mar. The other outstanding schedules will be completed by 02-Apr and he will go to the hospital to receive treatment.”

- Jun Pyo appears on a talkshow. He is on the show as a guest after leading Shin-hwa to success. Supposedly, the host asks him about marriage plans, and Jun Pyo responds that he has someone in mind.
- Yi Jeong returns to Korea after studying abroad in Sweden. He goes to find Ga Eul, who is teaching at a kindergarten. Before leaving four years earlier, he had told Ga Eul, “If you haven’t found a soulmate by the time I return in four years - you’ll be the first person I visit.”
- Eyewitnesses are claiming that the boy who plays the young Gu Jun Pyo was one of the children at Ga Eul’s workplace, but had straight hair instead of curls. (KP’s note: We’re not quite sure why they used the same child actor for a different role. He’s too old to be Jun Pyo and Jan Di’s child, so don’t get your hopes up. ^^)
- Ji Hu’s grandfather might be deceased by this time. He was actually supposed to die earlier because he was in the last stage of cancer (according to the KBS description). However, they felt that Ji Hu’s life would be too pathetic losing so much at once, so they changed it to a heart condition.
- Ji Hu is becoming a doctor like his grandfather. He was seen hugging a girl (that didn’t look familiar).
- Jan Di is becoming a doctor.
- Jun Pyo kneels in front of Jan Di, holding a ring. Before she can respond, F3 comes up and interrupts. Ji Hu says, “I object to the decision.” Yi Jeong chimes in, “I do too.” Woo Bin adds, “Me too…. Kim Bum & Kim Joon Fansigning Events Draw Huge Crowds
The 28th was a busy day for F2 boys Kim Bum and Kim Joon, but particularly so for the former.
Both Boys Before Flowers stars attended a fansigning event that evening (above), but first, Kim Bum appeared at one of his own in the morning as well (below).
At 11:30 am, the fansigning session that took place in Seoul’s Myungdong shopping district drew a crowd of 2,500 fans:
This morning session took place at the store for Spris, the activewear clothing brand that Kim Bum endorses (with Go Ara), which sponsored the event.
Kim explained, “Because I’m filming the last shoot for Boys Before Flowers today, I’m sorry I couldn’t meet many of the fans. Even if it was only a short while, I’m so thankful for your huge support.”
Following the close of Boys Before Flowers in the coming days, Kim Bum moves his attention to the big screen — his war movie “71″ is next, starring Yoo Seung-ho (Legend) and Big Bang’s Seung-ri.

This two-hour-long event tied in to the latest Boys Before Flowers merchandising, a second photo and music book (which contains 76 pages of new stills from the set); also sold on-site were the drama’s newly released OST 2 and OST 2.5 albums. On top of that, articles of clothing worn by the actors in the drama were auctioned off for charity.
Asked what he’ll remember most about BBF when it’s over, Kim Bum answered, “the ones with my partner Ga-eul [Kim So-eun],” to much cheer from fans. (Hey, the boy knows how to do fanservice right.)
Furthermore, preceding the signing session, pop group T-Max, of which Kim Joon is a member, gave a short performance.
